HR Solutions Provider Genius Consultant Survey: If you also work somewhere, then this news is very important for you. If you take too much stress while working, it can have serious consequences. According to a report, the mental health of employees is affected due to work stress. Due to which the efficiency of the worker also decreases. According to the report, 77 percent of people said that stress causes anxiety and depression. According to a report by HR solutions provider Genius Consultants, 14 percent were neutral and 9 percent rejected the possibility.
The survey was conducted from September 5 to October 15, 2022 among 1,380 employees in sectors such as banking and finance, construction and engineering, education, FMCG, hospitality, HR solutions, IT, ITES and BPO, logistics and manufacturing. According to the report, 82 percent of survey participants said that health problems such as immunodeficiency disorders, gastrointestinal disorders and musculoskeletal disorders are directly related to work-related stress.
Stress affects mental health
The report said that 73 percent of people suggested mid-day naps to cope with work stress. While 18% people were unsure about it and 9 percent disagreed with it. At the same time, many agreed to reduce working days. 68 percent of survey participants agree that the workday should be shortened. However, 18 percent are neutral and 14 percent disagree. According to the report, most people believe that work-related stress affects a person’s mental health.
